Belotero Dermal Filler

Belotero is among the newest options in dermal filler treatments. This injectable treatment consists of hyaluronic acid, found naturally in the skin. By replenishing your body's own supply of hyaluronic acid, Belotero is able to achieve more youthful-looking skin.

Is Belotero right for me?

Belotero injections may be right for you if you are an adult facing unwanted facial wrinkles. Most adults in the West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens area who are in good overall health can receive this treatment. Ideal candidates are those with skin wrinkling caused by loss of skin volume or elasticity. This treatment is particularly well-suited to fine lines such as crow's feet.  Unlike most practices you do not see a PA, Dr. Kapp performs all Belotero injections himself.

How much does Belotero cost?

For West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens area patients, treatments average $300-$500 per session, making it comparable to other forms of dermal filler injections. This price is dependent on the number of syringes of Belotero required. Some patients are able to achieve their desired results with one syringe of product, while other cases may need two or three.

How involved is the Belotero procedure?

This minimally-invasive treatment takes under an hour in the doctor's office. First, a formulation of Belotero is selected; there are three different types ranging from a thick gel to fill deep lines to a finer solution for superficial wrinkles. Next, this solution is delivered through a thin needle into the targeted area of skin. The number and location of the injections depends on your aesthetic goals; most treatments require between 3 and 6 injections. After receiving the injections, patients are free to leave the office.

How long is the recovery after Belotero?

Dermal filler injections have no required recovery process. It is often considered to be a “lunchtime procedure” because patients can return to work immediately after leaving our office. You may notice some mild redness, bruising, or swelling, which can last up to a week but is easily camouflaged with makeup. The results of dermal filler injections are visible immediately. Most West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens area report that the effects last 6 to 12 months. Over time, the effects gradually fade as the injected solution is absorbed by the body.
